The Christian and our Goal part 2: Harvest Praying

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Matthew 9: 37,38

My brethren in Christ across the world. You must keep praying that the Lord raise up more harvesters to reap the great bounty unto Heaven's basket. For God wants to hear the righteous prayer. The harvest is still very great and the number of harvesters are very few. But trust that the Lord thy God will and is answering our prayers. For Jesus Christ Himself has ordered us to pray for these things.

Several times before I have prayed that God through Jesus Christ raise up more harvesters so that billions of people across the world get saved through Christ. Then recently I got a message from a young man, who at only the age of 10, gave me his testimony of how he was beginning his journey with Jesus Christ. And right there I realized that God has been listening to my prayers. By seeing this young man's testimony, God was showing me that He has already started raising up harvesters for His Kingdom.

So brethren we must continue to pray and never cease. Not just praying for harvesters but also praying for everything Christ has commanded us to petition before God the Father. With faith and trust in Him God is answering our prayers. Do not lack faith or fill yourself with disbelief for that only messes things up. God wants to see you trust Him fully and then many miracles happen.

As for us current harvesters who have already been raised up b the Lord, there are always things we can do. There is always something we can do to glorify the Lord and point our fellow man in His direction. For example; American and European Christians are blessed to have easy access to the internet. The internet can be a very useful tool in spreading the gospel of God very rapidly and efficiently. There is a myriad of ways we can use the internet in spreading the Lord's words. Some of us have websites or networks where we can upload the Bible or tell others our testimony of how we came to Christ. I personally use all my old websites to share electronic Bibles in multi-languages. There are many things to do so always ask the Lord what task He has for you.

Remember the prophets of old had it harder to spread the Lord's gospel. Back then men like the John the Baptist and Simon Peter had to travel from land to land. And what we have now at the push of a button, they only had the speed of a horse and rider. So let us not take the tools God has given us for granted and use them for evil things. Let's use every instrument we have as a means to glorify God.

Some of our brethren may not have many resources at their disposal but ask the Lord what you can do for Him. Also pray that He uses you as one of the tools of His kingdom. There is one underlying commandment we must carry out and that is:

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16: 15

Always carry faith in your heart too my brethren. Every time we fight this spiritual battle we fight it for the glory of the Lord which is in Heaven. In addition when we fight the battle, we fight it with the faith that God is going to save everyone we witness or pray to. We fight this spiritual battle with the faith that every testimony we share, every Bible we give someone, every writing of the Lord we make, every human we intercede in prayer for, or every street we preach on will help a person to become saved. And thus another individual is reaped unto the harvest basket of Heaven.

We don't want to be the only people in the Heaven. We want billions of people across the world to join us in the safety of the Lord's Kingdom and singing praises to the King of Kings with us. God Himself wants everyman to repent and follow Him. The flesh is nothing, the spirit is everything. Even when a someone dies their spirit lives on. Let us continue to work and pray so that many spirits become safe in the Lord's arms. Always know that you have a spiritual battle to fight and a spiritual war to win.

The world will always persecute you

A servant is not greater than his master and as people deal with the master they will deal no less to the servant. Jesus Christ said that the world never knew Him. Since the world never knew Him, then it will never know us. It will hate us as it hated Him. Remember the world killed Him even when He spent His life healing, preaching, praying and restoring. These are the works of a man of love yet He was tortured and put to death. The time is coming where the same might happened to us. As a matter of fact our brothers in Christ in various places around the world are being persecuted as we speak. It's not uncommon in China and some Islamic countries. Before the defeat of the Taliban in 2003, anyone who was caught a Christian in was executed by the bullet. And they didn't care if it was a young child or an old man, they(the world) killed those people who followed Christ all the same. This goes on in China as well. Many of our brothers in Christ are forced to work in these sweat shops and their bibles go only to government sanctioned churches. What we take for granted, they don't even have in their hands. Even here in America, Christians are under attack by the secularist growth in government, the militant atheist movement, and even extreme homosexual groups. Even Janet Reno started to target serious Christian groups since the 90s. This will get worse as time goes on.

But you have to understand my friends and brethren this has gone on for centuries in one form or the other. Even after the Roman Empire adopted Christianity, it still nonetheless murdered Christians because they didn't want to follow the various semi-pagan traditions. As a result over 50 million Christians were killed. Even as the great Renaissance progressed, those Christians who refused to follow vain traditions or give indulgences to the church were arrested and persecuted. Because they kept the Lord's Word in their heart, because they knew to give to the poor, because they wanted to comfort the widow instead of the chief priest, they were ostracized. But be not surprised for Jesus forewarned us saying that men will deliver you up to the councils.

Don't worry with what the world accuses you of being. For false accusations will also be brought against you. Most likely you who trust in the Lord and follow Him will be called a “fundamentalist”. They will compare you to the crazy Jihadist terrorists all because you don't believe in things like abortion or homosexual marriage. Be pleased when they do say things like this because they said the same things about your King in Heaven. Think back when John the Baptist was living in the wilderness. When they saw him dressed in camel skin and not any fancy clothes, they thought he was some crazy berserker. He even asked them what do you expect someone calling for repentance in the wilderness to wear?---fine linen? No matter how much beauty Jesus Christ Himself brought into this ugly world, people and officials still called Him a heretic, a blasphemer, a rebel, and a threat to the empire. They gave these labels to a Man who healed both Jews and Pagans and gave the starving food!

The world will find as many excuses as possible to disregard you as well. When Jesus had dinner with sinners and apostles, His opponents started to call Him a drunkard and a fellow decadent. His opponents never bothered to see the reason why He sat with sinners, it was was because they were the ones who most need to repent and be healed. But that's the thing, the world's accusations and excuses are ridiculous. John the Baptist sat with no body and had was starving but people saw an excuse to discredit him as well, by saying he was some wacko with a demon. Likewise this is done today too. Think back to when the last time you heard a Christian tell the hard truth and he was then rebuked as being too judgmental. Think back to when such a thing happened to you. This is because the world and even some Christians like to stuff their ears. A few years after I came to Christ, I was called a persecutor of people because I didn't believe in lifestyles that the Lord said were wrong. Even my own father called me a fundamentalist at one point.

We have to understand, your home is not in the world. Your home is in God's kingdom and that is your ultimate destination. Therefore we should not bother trying to blend in with the world or foundation ourselves in it. Jesus said the world did not comprehend or accept Him and it will not do the same to you. So in that case let us not start sounding like the world, acting like the world, looking like the world, or living like the world. Don't become something you are not simply because the TV says that you should look like it. When Jesus Christ was on earth, He never concerned Himself with running for senate or becoming a general in Rome's legions. He didn't seek that kind of prestige and pride for Himself. Rather Jesus Christ sought how He could honor and bring glory to His Father in Heaven.

Don't worry about being starved or getting cast into a hole for rejecting the world either. For God said He will sustain His people. In ancient times when God brought the Hebrews out from Egypt and separated them from the world, He fed them. When they were starving, manna and quail was given to them day and night. If God's going to feed the smallest bird, then He will definitely feed us.

Sojourn on with God all our life and worry not about what men will say about you, nor what the world will try to do to you. God will be with you at all times. So when the world tries to attack you, know that they attacked the Lord Himself long before you.

God has freed us from our crimes: So why do you feel guilt?

Glory to God in the highest for freeing all of us from our evils. Glory to Him for snatching us out of the entanglements of our addictions and thorns of our wrong doings.

You who have accepted Jesus Christ as your King and have repented of your nightmarish evils are now free. Yet how is it that so many of us Christians, both young and old, still feel guilt for the crimes we've done in the past. Do you all not know that the moment you asked Christ to come into your heart and rescue you, that you were redeemed from whatever evil you have done in the past? Don't you all know that the torture Jesus Christ suffered on the cross was so that your crimes could be erased permanently? When you asked Him to, Christ came into your that very moment. And not only that, but you also became an inheritor of His glory. This is the God we now worship(The God of Abraham/Elohim). He is a God who wants to share His kingdom with us. We have all either killed, stolen, hated, blasphemed, cheated, etc. All of us have done it. But this is why God suffered torment in our place.

If we say we are still guilty of crimes that we asked the Lord to free us from, then we insult God's suffering at the cross. Jesus Christ never died in vain. So let's start acting like it. You are free. Your sins and transgressions have been eradicated, washed clean, and erased. They have been burned off and incinerated better than any medical disinfectant. Your former vices and Adam's vices, no longer travel with you. Instead the Lord's glory, beauty, love, and protection now walk along side you. Let no deception from the devil or from man tell you otherwise.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Roman Chapter 13: 12-14
