So I guess you think you are talking to dearly departed Grandma Edna when you are using that big sham called the Ouija board. Which is better known today as "the Angel Board." (both the Ouija Board and the Angel Board are the same thing.) Anyone engaging in that practice is in for a world of hurt...this is a deadly serious game.
The name Ouija board comes from the French word for "yes" (oui) and the German word meaning "yes" (ja). This board was in use for hundreds of years, perhaps since ancient times. Back then they were used to summon malevolent spirits for dark rituals. Now at days this so called "innocent" tool is sugar coated as saying it summons dead relatives. This can't be more further from the Truth. What you get instead is something totally evil!
Everyone, even atheists, has a demon that is assigned to harass them or lead them to an addiction of sorts. When you become a Christian, the devil then assigns more demons to you because you then become a big threat to him. These demons are known as "familiar spirits." Now why are they called this? They are called a "familiar spirit" because they are the ones who know you back and front, inside-out. They study and know of your lusts, your love life, what your favorite food is, etc, etc. These kinds of malicious spirits are so accurate that they can even imitate your voice and exact interests. Now everyone eventually dies and either goes to the Lord or the abyss, however this familiar spirit demon still retains the knowledge they knew about this person. Now when someone uses the Ouija board to contact some dead relative or dead person, they in fact just summon this familiar demon who, 9 times out of 10, will first masquerade as the said dead loved one. The evil spirit will use this deception to gain the users trust and shortly after will begin to harass and terrorize this person like never before. Think of a wolf in sheep's clothing. The wolf way bleat and act innocent to gain entrance inside, and then once inside the loft it will feast on the live stalk in there. This is exactly how the familiar spirit works; only it wears the clothes of a departed loved one and then feasts on your fear and misery.
As for the folks who use this board to summon a demon for manipulation; then this is more foolish than people who use it naively. You canNOT manipulate a demon. It manipulates you. It will deceive you with the illusion that you are in control and right when the moment is ripe it will turn and ravage your life in every way possible.
The so called, "Angel Board"
Isn't it ironic how it is today called the "Angel Board?" I guess they really meant the fallen variety...
I understand there are some who believe the erroneous title of the "Angel Board" and believe practicing this sort of dark ritual is safe. It's definitely not. You are NOT talking to an angel when you use this Angel Board aka the Ouija board. In all the Bible man has never initiated a conversation with an angel. Angels, who are more superior beings, have always initiated the conversation with man. And when an angel has done this, he has the mandate of God Himself. The angel would not work independently of the Lord's will.
The Ouija Board's invasion of house and body
The Ouija/Angel board is as a gateway or an attracting smell for a dark spirit to enter into your life. Many possessions where the person became literally controlled by an evil spirit happened as a result of use from the Ouija/Angel board. A lot of hauntings in houses, where someone thought they could communicate with a dead relative, happened as a result of someone fooling around with the Ouija/Angel board. What happened is that the demon sees this invite from the Ouija/angel board users. It then pretends to be a good or innocent spirit and then it just barges right in and takes over the place. Whether that place be a house or a person's body. Demons mostly appear in apparition form. This is because the Bible refers to them as "disembodied spirits" as well as familiar spirits. Which means they are without body and beauty anymore. Which might be one of the reasons why they want to possess and take over human beings. Sometimes they will take other forms but mostly that of an disembodied spirit. If you were to see one in it's true form, it would make the toughest guy would go nuts.
Getting rid of Familiar Spirits by Christ the Lord
This is for those people who have already been infected by a demonic presence in their home because of the Ouija/Angel board. Sometimes it may not be your fault, maybe someone fooled around with it without your knowledge or you moved into a place where someone used it frequently. The sure way to get rid of the demonic presence is by invoking the name of Jesus Christ. I know a lot of you are already saying "oh boy dude, more Christian propaganda." Well maybe if you listened to that sort of "propaganda" you wouldn't be in this sort of trouble in the first place. If you want to ask why the name Jesus Christ, it is because He is the supreme authority as the very Son of God. When Christ walked on earth and encountered demons, a demon would refer to Jesus as the one who comes to Torture it. Notice I used to the word "torture" which is something of extreme pain. That is what Jesus is to demons, just as demons come to torment and torture us, Christ is as revenge who comes to torture the demons in return. Every evil spirit knows of the name of God and Jesus. Like I said before, Christ is a ruling authority over them, that they cannot challenge or they'll be dealt with. One example I remember is a former law enforcement agent who preformed an exorcism on a man who had a familiar spirit. The possessed man tried to assault this retired agent and then he told the possessed man, "In the name of Jesus Christ you will be glued to that chair." And from then on until the duration of the exorcism, the man who was possessed by the familiar spirit did not get up from the seat but was stuck in it!
That's only a taste of the extent of Christ authority of demons and spirits....
PLEASE NOTE: when you invoke the name of Jesus Christ, be sure that you have faith and believe in His power. It is very important that you have Christ in you to deal with a demon. A fallen spirit is no pushover! It's been at this game longer than your grandparents have been alive. There have been some people who just blabbered out "Jesus" and nothing happened, because they didn't have any faith in Him or didn't believe in Him and His awesome power. Like in Acts 19:13,
"Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded."
In other words they got their butts kicked pretty bad because they didn't really have any faith. What they pretty much said was "we want you to leave because that Big Guy Paul talked about is supposedly strong and wants you to leave." So right there, that sort of faithlessness isn't going to work.
And by the way, DON'T use psychics and spiritual mediums to deal with demons, because that will just make it much worse. Most of these mediums and have bad spirits in them anyway.
Dealing with the Ouija/Angel Board and it's disposal
I say it's best to burn the thing to get rid of it. The Ouija/Angel board is obviously a gateway to haunting and torture from malicious demons. The best way to just get rid of it, is to torch the thing. Make sure it's destroyed. It may look like cardboard and wood, but it has an evil core that is very deadly. It's totally not a board game! It's the real deal and cause you pain for life.
There still might be some of you out there who will eagerly defend the Ouija Board with tooth and nail. I have heard so many arguments from misguided folks saying it was just from my narrow minded Christian point of view or that the board is just communication tool and even that the spirits are just deceased family. To them I say, either take my advice or leave it. If you leave it, then you will be the one suffering in the end. Don't let your hatred of church and Jesus things block your mind from what I think you already know is the truth. And Truth is that the Ouija board is very dangerous and you know it. I remember arguing with a guy who for 20 years had several spirits haunting him but he was sure that they were just deceased people and that the Bible was "made up." Needless to say people like him can learn the hard way! I'm kind of impatient and don't want to kill myself over someone that stubborn. If someone is that contempt on justifying such a deadly practice, they probably got what's coming to them. Because those so called spirits will be with him till the day he dies and afterward. Best bet is to listen what God says about it:
"And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them." Isaiah Chapter 8:19-20
